Same Old Man on a Maico at a different MX track, Grinding Stone MX track in Ft McDowell, Arizona. This was my first ride of any kind in a year. This 1974 1/2 GP Maico 440 is the first production “long travel” MX motorcycle that changed motocross history. It goes well at Grindingstone – a nice smooth track that flows well and doesn’t have peaked jumps to smash the down pipe. Recorded with Vholder HD. Old school MX – this is fun!

Woodland Vintage Motocross 2003

In March of 2003 I returned to Motocross Racing after 20yrs. My son recorded the race for memories. Little did I know that Woodland the track that gave me the memories would soon become a memory. It closed in 2006 for about a year, they cut down all the trees and now the track has a whole different feel to it. I guess it is Woodland minus the Wood!
